Watercolours and drawings

The watercolour compositions of brambles etc, are really a half-way house between my paintings in acrylic, and my printmaking. I made numerous life-size studies in watercolour pencil of plant material for use in both, some of which were traced and redrawn to create finished watercolour pencil drawings. The remainder of these images are samples of the studies I continually make to feed into new work.
